What could have been done differently to avert tragedy

I am struck with horror by what I have done! I have not tried to understand my daughter, Juliet, and now she's dead! My only daughter killed herself because of Montague's son, whom she loved. Romeo killed himself as he loved Juliet and thought that she was already dead. The friar gave her a potion so that she and Romeo could run away together as Romeo was banished. Alas! Their plan failed and that resulted in both of their deaths! If only i did not force her to marry Paris! He also ended up dead in the end as Romeo killed him. what a tragedy! If only I were more understanding when Juliet said she did not want to marry Paris then she might have confided in me about Romeo. I am guilty of indirectly murdering my precious daughter.

Tybalt is a reckless young fool and he deliberately wanted to provoke a fight with Romeo. Mercutio was also at fault because he wanted to fight with Tybalt! In the end, both Tybalt and Mercutio died because of their own foolishness. If they had talked things over calmly, this would not have happened! If Tybalt did not kill Mercutio then Romeo would not be banished from Verona and Montague's wife would not be dead because she was pining for her son.

Both Romeo and Juliet's death would also not happen because if Romeo were not banished, they would eventually tell me and Montague about their marriage. But it is too late to be saying this things. I wish that Montague and I were not feuding. But now, we have finally made peace and this is the only good that has come from their deaths. But I am glad that the feud stopped before any more people would lose their lives.
