All about myself
I am the Lord of the Capulets and I am 40 years old. I live in the great city of Verona. I have an enemy who is Lord Montague and we have a long family feud. We are always at war with each other. He is the vilest of dogs! Our servants are always stirring up fights in the streets and thus disturbing the peace of Verona. I bet it is always his servants that are provoking mine and not the other way round.
I have a family of three. Myself, my wife and my only daughter, Juliet. My wife is a beauty, with her deep emerald eyes and fiery red hair with a temper to match. She was my first and only love. She is slender, with a full figure. My daughter, Juliet, is also turning out as quite a beauty like her mother. Her ivory skin and creamy complexion attracts a good many young men. It is too bad that she already has a bethrothed, Paris. He is a relative of the prince and a suitable husband for Juliet. My nephew, Tybalt, is a reckless young fool. He will get himself killed one day. He is always provoking fights with the Montagues. But for a foolish young man, he does look handsome with dark good looks. He does have a few battle scars, though.
I have quite a lot of servants. I am just going to describe two of them as there are too many servants for me to remember all their names. Sampson is really rash. He is the one who always has his sword drawn first at any sign of provocation from the Montagues. He is very loyal to me and rarely loses in a fight. Gregory is the cautious one. He always thinks before he acts. He is the exact opposite of Sampson but they get along well with each other. There is also an old nurse that fusses over Juliet like she was still a child. She is quite plump with rosy cheeks and is loyal to Juliet.
My wife hates that I keep fighting with that Montague. She wants me to stop the feud and be at peace so that there will not be anymore deaths. She is very good at playing the pianoforte and likes to sew. Strangely, our daughter is nothing like her. She does manly things like riding horses without a saddle and archery. She is also quite kind to animals.
Even though my family likes very different things from each other, we still get along very well.
